Data Processing

Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as your name or email address. "Data processing" refers, in particular, to the collection, storage, use, and transmission of your data.

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

In the event that the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person make the processing of personal data necessary, Article 6(1), first sentence, point (d) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party, and if the interests, fundamental rights, and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not override those interests, then Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

The personal data of data subjects is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to exist. Storage may continue after the original purpose for storage has lapsed if this is provided for by law. Data is also blocked or deleted upon the expiration of a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations, unless continued storage of the data remains necessary for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract. Further information regarding the legal bases for processing and the retention periods for specific categories of personal data can be found in the respective subsections.
